This course introduces the fundamental principles of oscillatory motion and wave phenomena, which are central to understanding various physical systems in classical and modern physics. Students will explore simple harmonic motion, damped and driven oscillations, and the mathematics of coupled oscillators. The wave section covers both mechanical and electromagnetic wave propagation, interference, beats, standing waves, and the Doppler effect. The course emphasizes analytical techniques, mathematical modeling, and real-world applications, preparing students for advanced studies in physics, engineering, and related fields.
